Well the cursor is not as fast as in Windows, but it's managable.
It means that the cursor movement is not linear to the mouse movement. Google it and you will see that it's a huge issue for people that want to game on their Macs, especially for Windows switchers that are not used to it. The worst part is that there is no setting in OS X to remove it.

Here's a question that's been bugging me for a while. If you have a headless PC, does it need a video card in it?
The way I see it, it shouldn't because there's no monitor attached to it, but at the same time, VNC outputs what is on the monitor, which is driven by a video card. I've always wondered this, and I'm too lazy to pull the video card from my comp....

When I click the search box in IE6, the submit button does highlight, but I can still type in the text field.
It might be the button:active declaration in the CSS that IE6 is hiccuping on.

If you want to make an app with html5 and then compile it down to a native iOS app you can use http://www.phonegap.com/ . I'm currently using it to develop an app and have a prototype using it on my iPad. Works pretty well so far.

Sorry, I figured it out... at least i figured out how to fix it... not certain why it happened.
I just removed the picture folder I had it pointed to and re-added and that fixed.

It could mean that, or it could mean they just haven't updated the graphite versions of the buttons/loading bars/etc yet. I would love to see them offer more color options, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being just blue and graphite again. :o
I think this is the most likely explanation. They changed a lot of the interface elements and it's pretty reasonable to assume that they just haven't updated the graphite versions.

Haven't tried it but i've heard of iswift (or was it iswifter?) is an app similar to skyfire and it lets you play flash through their proxy servers

I have an original iPad which is jail broken and has displayout installed. I picked up the new HDMI adapter from the Apple store and every app mirrors perfectly except for Netflix. With Netflix I get a red Netflix screen on my TV, however, the video only plays on the iPad.
All other applications including Air Video, ABC player, and Videos installed through iTunes play on both screens.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

This is generally called newsletter software. I�d suggest looking into CampaignMonitor (http://www.campaignmonitor.com/), which will give you HTML code for a form you can embed (and customise) plus an online interface for managing your list and sending out newsletters. Another similar service is MailChimp (http://www.mailchimp.com).

Amoeba is an awful place to buy used CDs - any location.
It's fine for vinyl and even new CDs releases, but the selection and prices are superior at any of the online places mentioned above - eBay, Amazon, Half.com and even SecondSpin.
i would disagree with this --i've bought a good few of used cd's at amoeba and have never been disappointed

The official TRIM support is already in Snow Leopard builds for the new Macbook Pros with SSDs and it's in Lion as well. The official support is only for the Apple's SSDs, no TRIM support for third party SSDs. There is a way to enable it for any SSD that supports TRIM, but it is a hack. If think if you hold down a button (either esc, shift, control, option or command:D) when you select shut down it wont come up. I dont remember which button it is and dont really want to experiment;)

Not sure about looking like an iPhone 4, but put an opaque case on and people won't know if it's a phone or iPod without looking at the screen status bar where it says "iPod *signal strength*" And you can change the name on the status bar too with jailbreaking. :D

I'm wanting to try making some AMV's....those videos you see on Youtube taking a song and making a video out of clips from a cartoon...the better ones often get some nice lip syncing going.
What software would be good to look at for this kind of thing?
I have iLife 11...does iMovie give enough control for placement of clips? I have 6/HD stored somewhere I could rev up, since it had so much more features..has the new style iMovie started hitting parity?
