As of right now, you cannot buy one for $159 each. Read the page: it says "currently unavailable."
I read the page smart@$$ and then ordered two. At that price they sold out. Clearly NOT one of the ones with half an ounce of common sense and CLEARLY one of the ignorant ones with a superiority complex. This is why us switchers don't like "Apple' people like you.

Time machine already has folder inclusions / exclusions that can be accessed in the Time Machine settings in System Preferences.
I appreciate the feedback, however I am well aware of what Time Machine can and can't be set to do. I'm saying I'd like some more advanced/granular options/controls that can be accessed, the present settings/options that are available are really pretty basic. keep the simplicity it has now for many people that's all they need but have an advanced settings option available for the rest of us.

Oh how nice, instead of AT&T doing the work themselves they are having us do it for free.
**** you AT&T
Sorry, but I don't agree. Their techs can't be everywhere and this way they know where to send their techs to look for issues.

The use of the balaclava in sectarian violence has contributed a lot to this mistrust of covering your face.
My fiance is protestant, went to a Catholic High School and now teaches in both a Catholic High School and an Islamic k-12 school. When she works in the Islamic school, she wears a scarf covering her head, not out of pressure but for respect for their culture. She also lets her students know that she is Christian, but wants to show them that you should respect other people's culture. Compared with one of her colleagues who brings in Bacon sandwiches and doesn't really care, I think it's a nice outlook to have.
The thing with a beard is that whilst it hides some features, it doesn't hide other features such as your face shape, nose, brow and forehead. I don't like talking in person to people in sunglasses or with their face obstructed, maybe this is a western habit bred into me, but I just don't feel as much trust for the person as I would if I could see their face and eyes.
I don't really like the law being enforced, it should be a choice, but by the same token, it should perhaps be more like the rules in petrol stations and banks with crash helmets, you need to take them off before being served. I don't know what would be right though.

Buy a Mophie, back up battery. I got the 2000 mAh capacity, it nearly double the battery capacity of my IPhone, not to mention it's awesome when I have no charger any where near my phone.
Seriously highly recommend, I used to have the one for the 3GS and it was equally impressive.
Sorry, OT, but I got a Mophie, pretty good. 2 problems I have it though:
-It uses up the dock connector. So if I want to use an accessory, I have to remove the case which defeats the purpose. They could move the battery power lights to the side to fix this problem.
-It adds enough thickness to the phone, the volume & sleep buttons are hard to press. Could be fixed by just adding covers over them. However, I've gotten so used to the size of the case, when the case is off, the iPhone feels kinda flimsy.

The Death Grip is not a myth. I can hold my phone for 20 seconds or so and lose all signal all the way from 5 bars. On top of that, I've had issues importing photos on the phone into iPhone. This is also my second iPhone 4 this month due to said issues.
I just returned my iPhone 4 and got a full refund.
If Apple says there is not an issue, then they have their heads up their a$$es.

What company wimax router do you use and what's the monthly fee?
I'm on UQ Wimax with an NEC A t e r m W M 3 5 0 0 R router. It's a POS really, I keep losing my wifi connection when I have my laptop AND my Android phone(s) connected. But it's so inconsistent, sometimes hours go by before I get an issue, sometimes it happens within minutes.
I only keep it cuz it's fairly stable with just my MBA connected, and because of the amazing 8 hours of battery.
This was plan with no contract, and flat fee for unlimited (actually really unlimited, this is Japan!) data. 4490/month. With contract is 500 cheaper or something, maybe 1000. Can't remember. Device itself was 5100, and activation was another 2-3000.

Wow, I love this! I happen to have the late 2008 MBP, and I happen to find 4 GB or RAM to not be enough for Photoshop (Photoshop is always hungry). Amazing news.

That is such a neat idea. However, I somehow get the feeling that makes me doubt its inclusion in any of apple's new products in 2007.:(

Why is their no looting in Japan?
the answer is very simple ... The population of Japan is made up of mostly Japanese culture.
The guy on CNN last night summed it up best ... there is a bit of looting ... and it is being committed by foreigners.

Not a big surprise here:confused:
I am more excited to see the numbers between ATT and Verizon when iPhone 5 launches this summer. I think there may be more VZW folks holding out for 5 that didn't jump ship on 4

every illegal immigrant that enters England pretty much gets to stay 90% of the time.
Citation needed.
Actually of course you have no idea, and neither does anyone else, because the Tories made (and to be fair Labour didn't reverse) the great cost cutting measure of not checking people's passports when they leave Britain.

Me too actually.... i'd get a Macbook too if i could play games decently on it. The integrated graphics card is poo.
What games are you wanting to play, unreal tournament 2004 plays fine 30fps. And in windows Need for Speed Carbon runs fine, San Andreas also play fine. The integrated graphics is alright, you have to keep in mind it is a smallish form factor laptop not designed for games, but it does games reasonably well.

I work for BestBuy/GeekSquad, so let me confirm that that yes, we'll be selling iPhones at launch, and there will indeed be an employee purchase hold to allow clients to purchase the entire stock for a certain period of time.
You will be able to use rewardzone certificates, store credit, gift cards, anything that would normally apply to other in-store categories.
Also the warranty that BBY mobile sells on the iPhone is pretty decent, it includes ADH (accidental damage from handling) so if you drop the phone, spill water on it or get it wet, crack the screen, all that stuff is covered under warranty.
when something is wrong the genius bar replace the phone on the spot. does best buy do that?

I have used EyeTV for over two years. I am very happy with its performance, especially after the last couple of upgrades and updates. Just two days ago, I drove off to work and remembered that I had forgotten to schedule a recording. Since I had never initiated the built-in online scheduler, I just went without that show. I figured that I would just suffer through the chunky, undependable web streamed episode when it becomes available in a day or two. Now, I can schedule programs from anywhere with what I consider absolute ease. Today, while at my girlfriends house, I tried the live streaming over her wifi. It was only about a 15-20 second delay from the live version on her Cable TV. Very nice picture and sound. Way to go EyeTV and Apple. All they need to do now is add a fully functional remote control for the desktop version.
Note: for all of the haters out there. I am amazed at how angry and nasty you get when something doesn't work on your system. First, restart your mac and iPhone after major installs and upgrades. We have all become so spoiled with OS X and its ability to do installs and upgrades every time you make a change without restarting, however, that doesn't mean it's not necessary for optimizing performance and features. Also, if some other product works for you, just use it. I think EyeTV rocks. I haven't used Sling or Orb, so I won't say anything neg about them. BTW, not being able to get hardware or software to work for you does not qualify you to condemn it. If you can't get it to work due to a technical problem or some incompatibility you still have not used the hardware/software. Since it is working just fine for others(not bad for vers. 1.0.0), then the problem might just be you.
