I have a white 32gb wifi in a sealed box that I want to exchange for a 32GB black AT&T. If anyone wants to trade plus difference in cash, let me know.

Creative positioning + bed with a good bit of "give", e.g. Memory Foam = enjoyment without that "crushing" feeling. This has served me well, and that's the best way I can explain it without going into TMI territory.

We are always skeptical about such information shared by customer-facing representatives of Apple or associated companies, as those employees are essentially never provided with that level of information ahead of any official announcement.
And this case is no different. Should not even be page 2.

its about time apple is forced to compete with others for the best device again
agreed. We haven't seen any ipod updates in a long, long time. The shuffle is over a year old, the nano is approaching a year, and even the 5G is no spring chicken any more. I certainly don't want to see MS cut too much in to apple's marketshare, but if a little competition means pushing apple a little more, that sounds good to me.

I'm fine sticking with my iphone 4 for a while longer. It is great and if they give or at least preview iOS 5.0 ill be very happy :)

Jon Cryer has to be the most unhappy guy in the world right now.
Poor Duckie. I hope he socked a bunch of money away.

Here's a radical suggestion, very unlikely to be implemented, but maybe interesting.
The iPod has a screen on the front which displays the controls, but the touch/presence/motion sensitive sensor is on the back. Since the controls are on the back, your view of the screen isn't obscured by your finger tapping on it.
But how do you see exactly where your fingers are? Simple - the "None Touch" sensor detects where your fingers are, and superimposes a representation of their position on the screen - it's almost like a transparent iPod, where your fingers behind the iPod are shown on the screen in front.
Benefits
- your fingers aren't obscuring your view of the screen
- you're not smudging or scratching the screen by tapping on it.
Disadvantages

He's referring to inductive charging, not intelligent bezel, if I am correct.
No, he specifically mentioned the gesture area of the tablet. The quote had nothing to do with inductive charging.

I saw one in the wild.
Employee at an AT&T store in Charlotte, NC had one last week when I stopped in to purchase a car charger. He said they are probably going to be out soon, but mentioned that he is having problems with the proximity sensor. he said the screen display is staying on when he is on calls and that his cheek/ear are activating display controls. Could it be an issue with the bright white reflecting too much light into the sensor?
Does a proximity sensor work off light? (Honest question, I'm ignorant)
From personal experience with my own phone I thought it worked by doing exactly what the name implies, sensing when your face is close to the phone, not by determining how much light there is?

I've got a 2.5 yr old MacBook that is feeling stretched with Aperture. I've been thinking that an iMac / iPad combination would be a good replacement.
Anyone with experience in getting iPads to work with iMacs (specifically remote access)?

I had the same issue with my 3GS, I had to edit my /etc/hosts file using Terminal and remove the line with gs.apple.com in it.

Oh... I was right!
49 for a mouse. Wonderful. If this was a brand new design, with new features, never been done before, give me 2.
Sadly, Apple aren't exactly leading the way with mice, so they shouldn't be able to charge these prices!

That kind of sounds like something Bill Gates would say (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP0_uN42P44). :p
(Didn't see the video as of yet)
Absolutely no.
I hate the way windows looks in its default configuration. It is too shiny; too glossy and I just cannot get it to work. I have to go to windows 98 style to get back to normal functioning.
As for my comment, I simply mean that Apple needs to move beyond the grey effect and introduce another colour set or sets of UI elements. I like this. :)
Major Dislike As Of Now
I hate the way they are transitioning to non-Lucida Grande type fonts. See 'Day', 'Week', 'Month' text fonts. I absolutely don't like this.

That may be the problem. You didn't use it enough to become comfortable with it. It was a little weird when I first began to use mine as well, but after a day of using it I was in love.
I dont know what people see in the Mighty Mouse, I tried one out in a local computer shop and found it VERY frustrating to use.

Between him and Cryer, that's still half of what the show brings in. And you're still not factoring in production costs. The show is filmed at and owned by Warner Brothers so I assume the production costs are eaten in with the rest of the studio. Not sure if the crew gets anything above union wage.

In the UK edu prices:
£31 for Mighty Mouse and £35 for the Bluetooth version.
Not too bad I guess. I'll be holding out for the black version though :)
I've been checking the UK store (Higher Ed + Normal) since the announcement, the Wireless Mighty Mouse is still not up there. Are you sure you're not confusing the Mighty Mouse with the wired one? ( The Wired Mighty Mouse is is £31.73 H.E, £35.00 Retail)
Plus, I think we've already had a link to MacWorld showing the price at £49.99
